My dating world has been pretty slow up until recently...
In response to my last entry "Dragon Backpack", I am no longer talking to A. I think I was a bit of a time-filler, and he's now back with his ex. I'm not disappointed or upset over it though, because they're nice together, and I never put too much stock into us becoming anything.
The most promising guy right now is C. I met him while running errands, he helped me with getting some of the stuff I needed at a store (he was working there). He seemed like a nice guy, so I gave him my number. He called me a few days later to ask me on a date. He lives about forty-five minutes south from me, but for this date he drove up to me and took me out. We first went to eat at Olive Garden, but had a few hours to kill before the movie we wanted to see started. So, we went to Petco, where I played with a ferret. This ferret was SO cute, and I proclaimed that if he were mine, his name would be Nibbles. After that we went to the movies and then the night ended.
We were able to see each other again this past Saturday, and he'd been telling me throughout the week that he had bought me a little surprise. I was excited but kind of nervous - what could he have gotten me after our first date?? So when I got there I found out he had gone online and bought me a little stuffed animal ferret and named it Nibbles. He said he did it since he knew I couldn't have a real ferret in the dorms.
He's a very sweet guy, and though I still have small reservations, I think this might work out. However, I don't have my hopes up.
The one guy who I actually thought was going to be promising, M, actually stopped talking to me! (He's who I talked about on Nov. 15 & 16) He took me out at the beginning of this semester to a friend's party, and we got along great and he even kissed me at the end of the night... but he never called again. I know we've stopped talking before, but he's never done it where he wouldn't answer any messages... I guess another one has decided I'm not good enough for courtesy, yet again. Oh well, another one bites the dust.
